The Huhn Family || A Foggy Morning at The Beach

Family sessions don't always go as planned, especially when you have little ones. Victoria contacted me last month about scheduling a family session with her and her two boys (Matthew 2, Zachary 4) while they were in town for a family reunion, and said she especially wanted to shoot at the beach. She also warned me that the boys would more likely want to jump into the ocean, so we should probably stick around the dry sand for the first half of the session and then move towards the water at the end. Zachary, however, decided it would be best to fall right into the waves within the first five minutes. He also thought it would be a good idea to try and eat sand, which definitely didn't sit well with his tastebuds. Matthew wasn't as keen on getting wet and hated getting sand between his toes. He kept saying, "WET! COLD! MAMA, WET! COLD!" and then would reach up his arms to be cuddled. We all had a great time and I love the shots I got. You could really tell just how much Victoria loved her sons and how much they loved her and were so happy to be there. By the end of the shoot they didn't want to leave, and Victoria had to literally drag Zachary down the beach (lovingly, of course!) This family just tickled my heart.
